Many of my friends who are trying to obtain financial freedom, and even myself in previous years, live aboard as part of that strategy.

What these articles don't tell you is the base you need in your home country, especially if you're a US citizen. You need infrastructure back home too...

My goal is to retire somewhere far away from the US.

Hope we dont implode by then.

This is really good for people who are retired or work online. By retired, the age is 35. Which is not retirement age but that is the policy.

I would love to live aboard for a short period of time. Perhaps as an exchange student but it's something I'll need to research into more.
